Argyll Scott is partnering with a leading life insurer with various business initiatives to look for a high calibre compliance manager.
Responsibilities
- Identify new regulatory changes affecting distribution channels and operation
- Advise on relevant impact and drive the implementation on relevant compliance requirement
- Conduct compliance monitoring on intermediaries conduct and distribution operation's controls
- Provide compliance advice and support on distribution business initiatives
- Prepare various compliance reporting relating to distribution operation
- Identify and report key compliance issues or key risks related to distribution compliance and report in accordance to the relevant regulatory requirements
- Assist in compliance related projects as required
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Finance or Business related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in compliance field in insurance, pension industry or financial services sector
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with business units, distribution partners, and regulators
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
