Job Description

Our client is one the leading organization that give services in strategy, consulting, operations, digital, and technology. They are looking for Finance & Risk Manager to assist financial services clients with their strategies, transformations and operations for their Finance or Risk Management functions and to be a consultant working at clients sites and this requires a lot of travelling

Job Description:

· Manage project work or selected work streams in the Finance & Risk service line

· Supervise a project team in all components of Finance & Risk methodologies, including strategy and governance, process excellence and integration, regulatory reform, performance insights and execution

· Assist clients through the full life cycle of strategy, project implementation, integration, business process redesign, communication and training, etc.

· Work with client's business units, including Risk Management, IT, Internal Audit, Legal, Strategic Planning, Risk Analytics and Finance to gain thorough understanding of the corporate processes and procedures development

· Identify, define and document complex business specifications for finance or risk platforms and procedures

· Maintain contact with client management, assume a leadership role in pursuit teams, and participate in all aspects of the bid process

· Lead / assist in the development of new intellectual capital for Finance & Risk practice, conduct leading edge research, produce white papers, support development of marketing collateral, and assist in publishing articles in industry periodicals

· Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities and actively participate in building a practice and training in Finance & Risk practice

The successful applicant will have:

· 7+ years of relevant working experience

· Implementation of Finance Transformation in Banking and Insurance covering GL, subledgers, planning and consolidation

· Knowledge of the market practices around financial accounting (ex: multi-currency, ledger management)

· Knowledge of bank or insurance application architectures and strong project management

· Finance and risk background

  • Deep understanding of finance and risk systems and operations for large banks
  • End-to-end experience of finance and risk transformations (whether from a consulting, vendor or client perspective). Ideally including Oracle or SAP finance transformations
  • Compliance experience with International regulators

· Familiar with current and upcoming regulatory frameworks

· Familiar with leading vendors for key systems (GL, ALM, FTP, etc.)

· Data management and analytics

· System implementation and target operating model design

· Good understanding of ASEAN culture and markets

· Experiences in established relationship with Financial Institutions in Thailand

· Ability to travel for extended periods
