Food &Nutrition Chemistry Laboratory Manager
The Role
- This position will be directly involved with the laboratory's responsibilities for Food and nutrition chemistry-bio chemistry research
- Develop strategic plans with the objective of preparing the department for continued growth.
- Ability to implement new tests and execute a business-driven projects in acceptable time frames.
- Is responsible for a multi-disciplinary team of direct and indirect reports and quality specialists reporting out of the functional areas.
- Identifies, supports, and provides technical resources for environmental, sustainability and energy initiatives and improvements
The Person
- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry or related scientific field preferred
- 5+ years of experience is required.
- Experience in food, pharma, nutrition or beverage lab is required
- 2+ years of experience working in management level is required
- knowledge in Laboratory management system
- Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and other technical software packages, as needed
