Job Description

Our client is a global leading MNC which has constantly achieved strong business performance around the world. There is now an opening opportunity for a proactive HR person who has ability to create and lead strategic people initiatives as a "HR Operations Manager" who is very dynamic with strong skills in Workforce Planning Strategy / HR Process / Engagement / Labour Law and familiar in working for matrix organization. The qualified candidate must have commercial mindset to partner with business with solid interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skill.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Guide and deploy change management practices to support the growth objectives of the country
  • Deploy the appropriate human capital strategies and people programs for a high- growth market
  • Participate in organisation design, deploy programs, and initiatives to enable growth strategies
  • Build collaborative with key stakeholders, anticipating business needs, and implement appropriate initiatives
  • Working closely with the functional heads to build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce profile to increase efficiencies for long term business growth
  • Work with Regional C&B on salary and benefits benchmarking exercises and surveys to establish and maintain a competitive reward structure
  • Analyse the local labour market, monitor, and manage organisation structure, workforce headcount and manpower costs to support business objectives
  • Prepare and manage HR budget, working in partnership with Finance on people cost
  • Prepare headcount report to HQ for tracking of employee turnover and absenteeism
  • Manage the Annual Performance Review, Annual Salary Review & Promotion cycles
  • Provide guidance to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels
  • Develop and deploy employee-centricity and team engagement to drive performance
  • Ensure HR activities and advice comply with relevant business policies and ethical standards, legal business obligations and legislations

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Master's Degree in HR Management / General Management / HR related field is preferred
  • At least 9 years' experience in Human resources management in MNC, retail or in environments with multi brands, and Hospitality background are preferable
  • Proven track record in managing large HR team with solid senior management roles in a highly dynamic organizational environment
  • Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
  • Solid understanding and knowledge in local employment legislation requirements
  • Ability to participate in strategic discussions, influence outcomes, and lead change in behaviors to drive business growth
  • Hands-on for the full scope of HR work, both operational and analytical requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English and familiar with working in matrix organization
  • Business acumen with solid leadership, strategic, decision making, and coaching skills
